Ali and Joe Torre, together with our Event Committee, invite you to Safe At Home’s 2026 Annual New York Gala on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Gotham Hall in New York City.
Each year, our Annual New York Gala brings together a community of people who believe every young person deserves to feel safe, supported, and seen.
At a time when so many children and teens are carrying the invisible weight of violence, abuse, grief, and trauma, this evening is a reminder of what becomes possible when people choose to show up for one another.
Hosted on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Gotham Hall in New York City, the evening will bring together leaders, advocates, partners, and supporters as Safe At Home honors Darrell and Beth Rigel in recognition of two decades of extraordinary generosity and commitment to our mission.
Featuring a Special Musical Performance by Don Felder, a former lead guitarist of the Eagles
Founded in 2002 by Ali and Joe Torre, Safe At Home was created to end the cycle of domestic violence and abuse through education. Inspired by Joe’s own experience growing up in a home marked by violence, Safe At Home creates safe spaces within schools where students can access counseling, prevention education, and support from trusted adults when they need it most.
Proceeds from this evening will help sustain and strengthen Safe At Home programs in New York and beyond—ensuring more young people have access to care, connection, and the opportunity to imagine a safer, more hopeful future.
